Today, the Bokeloh family from Verdenermoor consists of father Dieter, mother Magdalene, son Christoph and daughter-in-law Janina.
The farm was established in 1794. It was restructured from classical dairy farming in 1992, and the activity now includes renting of holiday apartments and houses.
Christoph has also lovingly built up an Angus herd since 2005. The Angus cows live mainly on the lush moorland meadows directly behind the farm. Only when the cows calve in spring, they stay in the barn for two to three months.
Christoph has taken over the farm since September 2019 and is the contact person for any questions and requests.
Dieter and Christoph make sure that any visiting children can keep busy and romp around on the farm and the outdoor area. Janina will happily arrange for a ride and grooming session with the ponies. Magdalene keeps the garden tidy and is also happy to make the dough for the bread on the stick around the campfire.
